The Life House is the connecting hub of Up Close to God.  It is a 3200 sq. ft. facility that houses the clothing closet , food pantry, furniture donation drop, and ministry offices.  The Life House servres as a centralized point of operation for many ministries who hav a heart to serve the homeless of Montgomery County.  
   Located directly behind the Montgomery County Homeless Coalition and United Way offices, the Life House is in an ideal location to help with necessities for the homeless after they have recieved  assistance from coalition staff. 
   Aside from all the activity within the Life House walls, the grounds surrounding the building provide an excellent space for gatherings, meetings, cookouts, celebrations, and even a weekly bible study on Sunday mornings behind the Life House under the willow tree. 
    As space and funding become available, plans are in place to expand the Life House to include temporary and separate bunk space for homeless men and women who are waiting for transitional home vacancies to become available.  These plans also include a working soup kitchen, offices, meeting rooms, and a bicycle tire repair shop.
