The MIssion:

 - Provide a place where volunteers from all around the community can come serve together as the unified body of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

 - Provide a centralized location for the distribution of donated items to local outreach ministries that give to and work with the areas' homeless and under-resourced
 
- Maintain a working clothes pantry staffed by volunteers whose passion ensures that our homeless patrons are properly outfitted according to their immediate needs.

- Provide a food pantry for the homeless and those who have emerged from homelessness. 

- Encourage and facilitate space for weekly bible studies, personal development, and fellowship.

- Offer local outreaches that feed the homeless community the ability to utilize our vendor connections so as to maintain the highest quality standards for those being served.   

 - Support the residents within the constantly growing community of transitional homes in and around the area with food and clothing as well as keeping them informed of current employment opportunities.

The Vision:

 Up Close to God is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation, formed for the purpose of providing a place that brings churches, ministries, and other Christ-minded organizations together that have a heart for helping the homeless in and around the vicinity of Montgomery County, TX.
